A dangerous compound. What is it?

Why is everyone being so dumb? Everyone is taking this way out of proportion.

Firstly, dihydrogen monoxide and water ARE THE SAME THING!! Why does everyone have to try and be funny and say that they are not. The first one may have been funny a long time ago, but people keep repeating it, and it is getting boring.

Plus, this should not be able to degenerate into a thing where people are just insulting other people for absolutely no reason. Some people just don't know when to stop.
