The prime factorization of 100000 is 2^5 x 5^5. If two numbers multiply to 100000 and neither is divisible by 10 (2 * 5), then one must be 2^5 and the other 5^5.

Those numbers are 32 and 3125, respectively, and their sum is 3157.

(I think this was too easy for a perplexus puzzle, but the voters have spoken)
