If a 7-11 store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, then why are there locks on the doors?
In most municipalities (I can't say all because someone will try to prove me wrong) there is a code (law) that requires locks to be placed on exit doors. Also, I don't believe that there are any 24/7/365 businesses operating. I do believe that they will close down for holidays ie. Christmas, even if only for a half day.
