Prove that 'pi' is irrational.

In recognition of Pi Day a few weeks ago, the mathematics youtube channel MindYourDecisions put up a video explaining Niven's proof linked in the solution.  If Niven had included all the lower level details in the video then his "simple proof" would be three or four pages long.
