Can you work out the logic that is being used here, and find the two letters that can satisfy the final equation?

D + M = R
X – N = C
(K + R) / R = T
(B * W) + E = Y
R * N * A = H + X
(X / G) + F – K = ?

I think the logic is as follows:
For each letter, count the number of 'ends'. So for the first equation we have D = 0, M = 2, and R = 2, i.e., 0 + 2 = 2.

For the last equation, we get:
(4/2) + 3 - 4 = 1
Methinks that only the letter P satisfies the right hand side. The other letter could be a Q, but that would be font-dependent.
