Flap, Flep, Flip and Flop are related to each other, but not incestuously.

Among the four are Flap's mother, Flep's brother, Flip's father and Flop's daughter, and the oldest and the youngest are of opposite sex.

One is a different sex from the other three: who?

Clearly, the lone gendered person must be male, since Flop has a daughter.  Only a female can have a child.  (Well, for now at least).

Since Flop cannot be her own daughter, we are left with concluding that Flep's brother must be Flip's father, as male is the lone gender.

So, it's not Flop, since she's female.
And it's the brother of Flep, thus it's not Flep
And it's the father of Flip, this it's not Flip.

The only remaining option is Flap.
