L.A. to Hawaii (Posted on 2005-06-17) Difficulty: 3 of 5
It is about 2244.5 nautical miles from Los Angeles, CA to Honolulu, HI. A boat starts from being at rest in Los Angeles Harbor and proceeds at 1 knot per hour to Honolulu. How long does it take?

about 2245 hours.  A knot is a nautical mile/ hr.  Of course there is going to be some scientifc concept that will not take into account getting in and out of the bay, undocking/docking time if intended, acceleration which has no value given, or does it?deceleration....etc.
