brianjn appears to have found a way to get the answer mathematically, which I find to be quite excellent.  Great job!

But there is a simpler way of determining the next several terms of this sequence.  Note that the title is in Latin, and the words were spoken by Julius Caesar who was the ROMAN Emperor.
