See, Something or someone's existence is not equal to their name. If my name changed (or even disappeared) I would still exist. When something is unnamed, and you name it, it is still there.

Now I can understand that the idea of being nameless no longer exists, but I'm looking for a much simpler answer than that. It's not the name (or lack therof) that ceases to exist, but the actual person/place/thing/idea that is identified by the name.

I hope that helps, and again, clever answer! I had not heard it before.
