Up and down I fall
Back and forth I sway,
And if left alone,
Round and round I go.

I'm gonna say the Sun.

up and down I fall  (sun rises and sets, kinda like falling up and down)

back and forth I sway (somewhat unknown fact that the sun occilates in place thus a back and forth motion)

round and round I go (sun rotates)
