Rem: lg 7 is a decimal (by base 10) logarithm of 7.

EXCELLENT IDEA, BUT YOU'LL GET MUCH BETTER RESULT.if you make a table of 7^n, n being all negative integers.

I got 11/13 , which is about .001 away from the true value of lg7.

I give you full credit for going in  the other direction, still

I did it your way.
