Starting out as did Jer:

(10R+E)(10E+R) = 1000A+100R+10E+A = 1001A+10(10R+E)

So 10R+E factors 1001A=7*11*13*A

A little checking gives A=6,R=7,E=8 and (78)(87)=6786
