possible solution | Comment 1 of 4

a+b+c=1000, a^2+b^2=c^2, a*b*c=x in WolframAlpha gives 84 solutions, of which the only Pythagorean triplet is {375,200,425} giving x= 31,875,000.

This triplet is clearly not primitive; it is 25*{15,8,17} (u=1,v=4).
