OK, I'll give it away.  Putting all the rows together, the complete grid is 1235813213455891.

Punctuating gives us 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 1(44)

I still don't know how Jer figured it out.

I guess that Ady would call this sequence pseudo-Fibo
