Where The Smoke Blows (Posted on 2003-06-20) Difficulty: 2 of 5
An electric passenger train goes at 73 km/h in the direction of south east. A wind is blowing from the south at 31 km/h.

What is the direction that the smoke from the train is blowing and at what speed?

the smoke is moving south at 31 km/h because the direction and speed of the train dose not effact the smoke when there is an alternative force acting upon the smoke
