Which is the number that, multiplied by 3, then increased by three-fourths of the product, divided by 7, diminished by one-third of the quotient, multiplied by itself, diminished by 52, the square root found, addition of 8, division by 10, gives the number 2 ?
Mathemagician is right, negative answers need to be looked at too, if you want to get technical. Of course if you really read the problem carefully, the problem only says to "find" the square root, it doesn't ask to use the square root of the number. The correct answer then becomes +/-16. But that obviously wasn't the point of the question!
