The problem doesn't actually specify that the answer must be integral does it? Why wouldn't 2.85714 work? (Or .285714 if the preceeding "0" isn't required?) For that matter (and I'm just working from Victor's previous reasoning) there may a number 1.********** that would work and be smaller, but have more "digits" than 6.
