When my family decided to tour the states of the U.S., we began with New York, Maryland, Georgia, Maine, and then Texas.
What were the next two states we visited?
Louisiana and North Dakota were the next two states on the itinerary, but the next two states "visited" were Louisiana and Arkansas (passing through, on the way to North Dakota).
