Four people are sitting around a campfire after a long day of recreation, when one man comments: "Do you realize that around this campfire, the four of us include a mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle and a couple of cousins"?.
If everyone is related by blood (with no unusual marriages) how is this possible?

Sitting here typing in this response we have a son, a grandson, a brother, a husband, and a cousin.

In other words: just me.

The problem doesn't state that the people hold all of these relations to each other within the group, only that they are related.

One possible answer then is that this a family outing. The family is a man and woman and their two children - a boy and a girl. Not with them is the man's sibling who has a child.
