You're right, Peter, in that God follows his own rules. God can't make a square circle, for example. That is against the nature God created. If God had created a different nature, square circles might be possible.
But your "he(she?)"s illustrate another point. God is a spiritual being - not a he or a she. If you believe in the Trinity (as most Catholics do) you would know that the only part of God that has gender is Jesus, who is a he. The Holy Spirit is also neither he or she.
