Fill in the missing numbers in the sequence.
5, 3, 8, 2, 2, ?, 5, 3, 7, ?, 2, ?, ...
I started playing around with the idea of froming lines by arranging
the 12 numbers in rows such as 2x6, 3x4 and so on. When I tried 6 rows
of 2 numbers --so the sequence could be considered a sequence of
PAIRS of numbes-- I found some regularities:
5 3
8 2
2 ?
5 3
7 ?
2 ?
This kind of problem is so undeterminate I can offer a lot of
explanations: for example the sums may be 8, 10, 12, 8, 10, 12 ... and
the missing numbers would be 10, 3 and 10. But of course the sums could
be 8, 10 and 7 (why not?) and the missing numbers would be 8, 3 and 5.
And, of course, there could exist mny other "hidden" rules, hopefully
having something to do with music, but it's too vague anyway.
My apologies to the author but I will not lose any more time on this.
