If a 7-11 store is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, then why are there locks on the doors?

d'oh - ya beat me to it. I would be VERY surprised if there are not Building codes about this. But having worked for a General Contractor, I can tell you that the doors do not just come that way. If it is not a building code, then there must be some justification.
