Their sum is 6.
The sum of their squares is 8.
The sum of their cubes is 5.
What is the sum of their fourth powers?

Did you really think of 3 numbers, and these are the functions of those 3 numbers? or...

Was these just a lot of fluff to make us instatly try to solve for the 3 numbers, rather than think about the question?
