Do the three hands on an analog clock (hours, minutes, seconds) ever divide the face of the clock into three equal segments, i.e. 120 degrees between each hand?

Good idea but........

at 8:20, the minute hand would be on the 4, but the hour hand would have been pulled off the 8 due to the gears turning.

same idea goes for 4:40

answer is no.
