Which day of the week (Sunday, Monday, etc.) is the probability largest to fall on the 13th of a random month, in a random year?
Or is this probability the same for each day of the week?
Well, according to the programming language I use at work, the distributions of days of the week for the 13th of every month starting from Jan 13, 1582 through December 13, 2699 (the range the language will allow) are as follows:
Sun: 1921
Mon: 1915
Tue: 1914
Wed: 1921
Thu: 1911
Fri: 1923
Sat: 1911
So, it looks like Friday is the winner. What BAD luck!
