A watchdog is tied to the outside wall of a round building 20 feet in diameter. If the dog's chain is long enough to wind half way around the building, how large an area can the watchdog patrol?
Gosh, this is, like, sooo way too much. I mean, like, you are talking to someone who has trouble keeping a single lipstick colour in mind. This has become, like, all too dy/dx-cessive.
I have tried to follow your arguments, which, by the way, all seem meritorious at the moment. We really do need to resolve this ... wowmers zing, do we ever ... easy, Cee, b r e a t h e ... I am, like, ready to do the 200 little polar triangles sum thingy just to get an idea of which way to think now.
I tried to buy a spirograph for this problem but the thing they're selling now is, like, so not like it used to be. Those guys are, like, so ruining the future of mathematics. Hugs. - CeeAnne -
