Subtraction of columns | Comment 6 of 8 |

it turns out, if when looked at as

column # 1:  1094_

column # 2:  1771_

column # 3:  2865_

column # 4:  4636_

column # 5:  7502_

Column 5 - Column 4 = Column 3

Column 4 - column 3 = Column 2

Column 3 - Column 2 = Column 1

So, From this information i get a set of 11 solutions (my reasoning being that, if Digit 5 of C1 is x, & C2 is Y, C3 must be x+y, C4 is y+x+y, and c5 is x+y+y+x+y. because Digit 4 of C1 + Digit 4 of C2 = Digit 4 of C3 and not D4 of C3 - 1, X+Y must be less than 10. The same thinking (i believe) shows that X+2Y is less than 10, and 2X+3Y is greater than or equal to 10.)

My 11 solutions are 13471, 14594, 23583, 32572, 33695, 41594, 42684, 51673, 52796, 61785, and 71897

i'm having trouble determining why any 1 of them is the correct one, so i'll leave that to someone else
