One Word, Seven Times (Posted on 2005-01-27) Difficulty: 5 of 5
"Dog dog dog dog dog dog dog."

While dog-lovers rejoice at the above statement, grammarians hang their heads in shame, as the statement is not a grammatically correct sentence.

Replace "dog" with a word that will satisfy the grammarians. You may not add any additional words or punctuation.

A multitude of answers? | Comment 1 of 14

I suppose it's gramatically correct to say:

Races races races races  races  races races.

In this case, one team name is "Races races races races" and the other team name is "races races".  They just happen to be racing against each other in this heat.

With that thought in mind you could also say:

Fights fights fights fights fights fights fights,
Raced raced raced raced raced raced raced,
Helps helps helps helps helps helps helps,

or even,

Bakes bakes bakes bakes bakes bakes bakes.

I hope the real answer is more elegant than this.
