Donnetta is the granddaughter of Donnetta's sister. Well, you can't be the granddaughter of your sister so that implies that there must be two Donnettas. With that in mind, you can conclude that if the younger Donnetta is the grandneice of the older Donnetta and Donna must be the daughter of the younger Donnetta (otherwise Donnita would have met Donna) than Donnetta is the great aunt of Donna's mother. Hence the answer to the puzzle.
