For all x in the given ranges, polynomials f, g, and h satisfy the following equations:
|f(x)| + g(x) = 4x, x ≤ -2;
|f(x)| + g(x) = -2x², -2 < x ≤ 0;
|f(x)| + g(x) = h(x), x > 0;
What is the least possible value of f(10)?
closly observing the functions, i was able to make out
f(x) = x²+2x or f(x) = -x²-2x
& g(x) = 2x-x²
h(x) = 4x
so f(10) = 120 or -120
least possible value of f(10) = -120.
