When I was attempting this puzzle it occured to me how many different ways this set of numbers might have been constructed.
In retrospect, the word ODD in the title hints to something, but it doesn't jump out at you. It's only with very close inspection that you realize that some columns consist only of odd digitsd and others only of even digits. A set of numbers, like this, could just as easily have been constructed where each column represents a single character.
