You have a square glass panel with 24 cm sides and a ring with 5 cm internal diameter.
Cut the glass in 4 identical pieces such that you can slide them through the ring.

Yeah, I had to edit my spiral down to 3 cm, as my square corners would stop me otherwise. Your point about trying to cut this is glass is well taken. I had thought the glass forced no flexing/cheating with the ring; perhaps we are using a super fine saw??
