Eight (8) soccer teams (named A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H) are ready to a tournament among them, where each team will play against each of the other 7 teams once, and only once. They have 7 stadiums available, and agree that each team must play in all the 7 stadiums, once in each. In each round the 8 teams will play, so it will have 4 matches every day, and the tournament will last in 7 days.

Schedule the matches in each of the seven days, and in what stadiums they will be played.

Namita, I think you didnīt get yet the problem.

In each day, there will be 4 matches (all the 8 teams plays, always), for example, in the first day AxB, CxD, ExF and GxH, respectively in the stadiums 1, 2, 3 and 4 (they have 7 stadiums available).

In the next day, there will be 4 more matches, letīs say AxC, BxG, DxE and FxH. But the match AxC canīt be in stadium 1 (because A already played in this stadium), nor in stadium 2 (because C already played in this stadium).

Since each team must play against the others 7, and every day there will be a round (with all the 8 teams playing), the tournament will last in 7 days.
