How many seconds are there in one year?

there can be more than one solution to this riddle if you really analyze it. in one case there can be 12 seconds because there are 12 months in a year and every month has a "second". (Jan. 2, Feb. 2 etc.) or there can be 24 seconds when you look at it as every month having 2 "seconds" (Jan. 2, Jan 22, Feb. 2, Feb. 22)
