A Man Without Eyes (Posted on 2005-05-10) Difficulty: 1 of 5
A man without eyes saw plums on a tree.
He did not leave plums on the tree, yet he did not take plums either.
How can this be?

not a good riddle | Comment 17 of 31 |
Yeah, I knew the answer to this riddle, but i have to say I don't like it.  I think it's a poor riddle with a poor answer because if you say a man has no eyes, then there are none... plural is misleading and untrue.  That's just my opinion though.

Also, with the plurals answer in mind, you could say there was only one plum on the tree, therefore he left no plums, but since he only picked one he did not pick plums.  It just doesn't make sense.
