There are six words that satisfy the following six definitions (one word for each definition) and these words share an unusual property. What are the six words and what is the unusual property?
Removed the withered heads of flowers
One who can recall an event
Emphasizes again
Calmness
Bare-armed
Whispers
Looking at Bob Smith's proposed words:
deadheaded
rememberer
reaccents
sereneness
sleeveless
susurrates
What comes to mind is not the side of the keyboard that most of the
letters are on, but rather the low number of different letters per
word. More precisely, each word (except 3rd and 6th) has 4 of one
letter, 3 of another, 2 of another, and 1 of the last.
According to Nosher, the 3rd is wrong, and the 6th is merely the
wrong part of speech. Unfortunately, I'm not so good as Bob Smith
or Penny's computer programs at finding these words. The closest
I could find for number 3 is "reiterates" and number 6 seems to be
"susurrations", but neither fits the above criteria. Perhaps I am
wrong about the property.
