Using only math symbols (no functions like sin, cos, log, etc.) create an expression with only two 2s equal to 5 (no other digits or constants).

Only [ ... ] is usually the floor function, rather than the ceiling function, making [sqrt(22)] = 4, rather than 5.
However, it's easily convertible:
-[-sqrt(22)]
Of course sqrt would be written in the surd form, so as to be a math symbol instead of letters. The floor of the negative value would indeed by -5 and then negating it would make 5.
