Actually, that encarta web page does not say that GRY is the only other word. Here are the two pertinant (consecutive) paragraphs from that page:
For the simple version, The Book of Answers says the answer is that gry is the third word that ends with gry. A gry measures 0.008 of an inch--but it is an obsolete term.
But I found other equally obscure words that end in gry. They are aggry, which is a glass bead found buried in Ghana; puggry, a light scarf that you wrap around a hat or helmet to protect your head from the sun; and meagry, which means of meager appearance (which I guess might describe a dirty aggry, or a heat-wilted puggry).
