A very common word in English that ends is "gry" is
UNANGRY
It is an antonym of the word angry, but it's a common word in its own right, with (obviously) a different meaning than "angry". For example, a psychology test included the following question:
"(9) Do you have the impression that negative emotions stay longer inside you than necessary. For example, when whatever caused your anger is solved does it take long for you to regain your usual unangry self ?"
