Tame, yet wild (Posted on 2005-12-20) Difficulty: 2 of 5
I drift forever with the current,
Down these long canals they've made.
Tame, yet wild, I run elusive,
Multitasking to your aid.
Before I came, the world was darker,
Colder, sometimes – rougher, true.
But though I might make living easy,
I'm good at killing people too.

Like most others my first thought was electricity and my second Gas as a possibility.

My only hang up is the use of the word "drift" in line 1. Surely electricity doesn't drift.

If, as I assume this was just a little "poetic licence" then electricity seems to be the best fit.

Any other thoughts/suggestions on how drift fits in?
