Determine all polynomials L(x) satisfying the undernoted equation:
(x-243) L(3x) = 243 (x-1) L(x) for all x.

I will point out that Bractal's technique is a very nice approach to use in both recursion and ODE problems. Notice that it would help approach a solution even if the solution was only analytic.

How can we look at this or other recursion relations and tell the degree of the polynomial without constructing the polynomial?
