Writing programs is not an art but a schooled or practised skill.
Yes! I have done just that but at a time where I did not have
available to me the sophicated tools of which Charlie has access.
I have not denied Charlie's right to put forward a 'computer
solution', but .... it does 'defoliate' a solver's interest when
the words 'Spoiler' and 'Computer solution' or the like appear.
And I recognise that there are Forum threads which address this very
issue.
I also thought that there was supposed to have been a 'protocol'
whereby those who viewed pre-published puzzles were somewhat dilomatic
as to how they responded to them should they be accepted.
