Dafoe, The Lone Entrepreneur is a very ambitious man.
He wants to make $1000 in the shortest amount of time!
He starts out with $0 but is currently receiving $5 per day and he can purchase the following shops at any given time:
1-Shack. Cost: $10 Income: $5/day
2-Mall. Cost $25 Income $15/day
3-Shopping Center. Cost $150 Income $150/day
The money is always paid in at night and Dafoe can purchase as many new shops as his money allows in the mornings.
What would be the best sequence of shops to be purchased to to have a balance of $1000 on hand?
How many days would that take?
Money spent comes out of his balance and so is no longer part of the needed total balance of $1000.

I'm also maxing out at $980 on the end of day 12. Here's my purchasing schedule (the numbers in parentheses are my starting amount, minus how much I spent, plus my profit, equals my total at the end of the day):
Day 1: nothing (0 - 0 + 5 = 5)
Day 2: nothing (5 - 0 + 5 = 10)
Day 3: 1 shack (10 - 10 + 10 = 10)
Day 4: 1 shack (10 -10 + 15 = 15)
Day 5: 1 shack (15 - 10 + 20 = 25)
Day 6: 1 mall (25 - 25 + 35 = 35)
Day 7: 1 mall, 1 shack (35 - 35 + 55 = 55)
Day 8: 2 malls (55 - 50 + 85 = 90)
Day 9: 2 malls, 1 shack (90 - 60 + 120 = 150)
Day 10: 1 shopping center (150 - 150 + 270 = 270)
Day 11: 1 shopping center, 4 malls (270 - 250 + 480 = 500)
Day 12: 1 shopping center (or nothing) (500 - 150 + 630 = 980 OR 500 - 0 + 480 = 980)
