You might try to tough out a solution without it, but I think you will find it most practical to start with a particular individual (usually a common sight, but not common in this paragraph.) Go to work on solving this, all you cunning cryptologists!

Don't quit too soon.  Look for a constant, but irrational approach towards finding a solution.  If in doubt, ask Lonhard.  Googling can also point you to what is missing, if you run out of options.
