A man went to a party and drank some of the punch. Late for another appointment, he then left early. Everyone else at the party who drank the punch subsequently died of poisoning.

Why did the man not die?

he could have been late for a phisical, arrived at doctors, and said he had alot of pain doctor told him poison caused this pain. so the doc gave him an anacdote. the others didnt recieve this anacdote hence they died.
