It is strongly recommended that you try
this one first.
Can you hang a painting from three pegs such that the removal of any single peg causes the painting to fall?

here's an idea by macgyver08)
I took the solution with 2 pegs and turned it sideways.
Then I took the two loops over the top and doubled them and split the top peg into two new pegs.
Then I took this double loop and built another version over these two.
It should be possible to extend this to any number of pegs.
