One could be tempted to think mod(3) [title] but with a seemingly obvious base(10) as the text you have to think.
That zero never associates with a -ve is an interesting thought.
The title initially makes one think about binary bytes but the incorporation or the digit '2' rules that out; binary is 1 and 0!!
D4, and under Gamer's nomme, suggests something wily!
