Life is full of me! (Posted on 2006-09-07) Difficulty: 3 of 5
With potent, flowery words speak I,
Of something common, vulgar, dry;
I weave webs of pedantic prose,
In effort to befuddle those,
Who think I wile time away,
In lofty things, above all day
The common kind that linger where
Monadic beings live and fare;
Practical I may not be,
But life, it seems, is full of me!

Some Thoughts my uderstanding | Comment 5 of 19 |

this is the farthest i got:

a large group of people who use the same system of a definent, simple, yet non-interchange-able system of words meaning a different word or group of words.

I remember a type of cipher that works in this way. It was used by the army before the morse code. An example of the code, probably not accurate but following the same princibles, would be : "father went fishing out on the lake" where "father" ment the general, "went" ment went, "fishing" meant inspecting, "out" meant out, and "on the lake" meant in the troops camping area.

I know the code, but I can't remember the name. Can any help me?
