This looks great but it does not solve the puzzle by simple substitution.
Words 4 and 6 don't make sense to me, and in actuality I have played only with substitutions, like the double letters in the first word are either "OO", "EE" or some double consonant.
I haven't yet decided if some simple Caesar shift has been applied here, or if there has been a random substitution, notwithstanding of course some other devilment; the 4th word reads YES backwards using the above table.
After seeing a later note it was words 4 and 7 that were causing difficulty, not 4 and 6.
