Keeping it real | Comment 2 of 3 |

Let a and b be two roots that add to 2.

a^4 + 12a - 5 + b^4 + 12b - 5 = 0

a^4 + b^4 + 12(a+b) = 10

a^4 + b^4 = -14

which has no real solution.
